Fast Food Responsibly
We don’t just serve delicious-tasting fish & chips! We are also proud to offer a menu of sustainable initiatives which have a positive impact on our environment, and the people around us.
Read on for how we have been able to ‘chip in’ during 2021!

We are working to support the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)
FOOD WITH EXTRA FLAVOUR

We dished up 2000kg of MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) sustainably certified Atlantic Cod

We've chipped 5750kg of non-genetically modified Belgium potatoes

We only use Canola Oil for fresh frying, a healthier oil with omega 3 and
no transfat.
It is recycled after use.

Our hot tea and coffee is organic and fair trade, ensuring a quality chemical-free product, where the farmers are paid a fair price
TALKING TRASH

By using fast-decomposing oxo-biodegradable plastic bags, we saved around 20,000 conventional plastic bags from sitting in landfill

We use FSC certified paper for our boxes & cups, plus FSC wood for take out cutlery

We reduce food waste with clever menu design; eg using extra fish pieces for our famous fish butty, or chopping leftover onion (from onion rings) for our signature tartar sauce

We have recycled 800 litres of Canola Oil which has been turned into bio-diesel
SERVED WITH LOVE

We support the community around us. 20% of our staff are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We are an equal opportunities employer; equal pay and opportunities for everyone
